Dubai-Based Searchie Partners with US-based Heartfelt, Non profit Stepping Up Globally To Help With The COVID-19 Crisis
An organization which is passionate about screening and making it affordable. Many individuals with heart conditions experience no symptoms, and frequently, insurance providers will not cover the cost of these exams. Families can be screened at Heartfelt events for a donation of $85 per person. Additionally, Heartfelt secures sponsorship funding and grants to supplement costs in order to offer free screenings for the underserved and low-income families, whenever possible.
About Holly Morrell, Founder, Heartfelt
Holly established Heartfelt to better serve the general public and preserve the integrity of her mission: to save more lives through early detection, education, and increased public awareness. She has pioneered the grassroots cardiac screening effort/industry beginning in 1999. She has over 20 years of experience in screening students, athletes, adults, and kids, ages 5 & up throughout the country. She spearheaded her previous organization/screening program, to become the “largest player” in the U.S., as reported by the Wall Street Journal in 2005. To date, Heartfelt has provided cardiac screenings to over 50,000 people.
Holly is knowledgeable, experienced, and professional, but considers her work to be very personal, as well. She dedicates her work to the 6 family members lost to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), the #1 cause of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) in young people in the U.S.
Launched in 2018 to allow employers and candidates screen more efficiently through remote one-way video interview platform. Resulting in personality summary, competencies and culture match of the individual, while digitizing the process and reducing unconscious bias. Searchie produces human insights, generated through it’s own inhouse proprietary technology.
In March 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis Searchie managed to repurpose it’s software and apply it to the health industry and launch Mediscreen. The capabilities built by Searchie’s machine span across various use cases and during the recent pandemic we decided to put it to the test.
